MGS Age Groups - Where are you?

I'm in 41-50 group.

As far as whether or not it's representative of the age of golfers in general... I don't think so. My local course has had to up the number of PGA Jr teams they field the past 3 years in a row. Plenty of younger people out there. We're just the older farts sitting around on a computer to talk about it

The distribution of ages at a course is probably very regional and economic driven.  The age groups for this poll doesn't reflect the age of golfers at our muni, and I expect it's no different at other courses in my area.  While we have a group of juniors, most players during the week are over 50... way over.  On Fri-Sun the age drops a little as people that work come out to play and except for a few of us "old people", the upper age groups stay home.

When I finally start loosing hair, I'm gone fully shave it. 

I'm going full "Dwayne the rock Johnson" looks. 

That is the approach I took when I started losing mine at 15! 25 years later I have only had 2 years where I grew it out because of lost bets and it wasn't pretty!

I did the same thing except I was 40 when I shaved it. Been keeping it off for 20 years now. Ok now follow my logic.

I would have got a haircut once every other month. So six times a year, times $20 a haircut, times 20 years is  $2,400.00. Then add mileage to and from the hair stylist should put me at $2,800. Then deduct the cost of the clippers $20.00. ( which I still use twice a week)

I now have $2,780.00 to spend on golf equipment.  I 'll let you know how this philosophy works on the wife!

I tried that approach when I quit smoking 3+ years ago and it turns out that savings was hers to spend! Lol

You are correct lol. I thought the age group would be slightly higher. But now I think about it most older folks are not using the internet as much we are.
