russtopherb
I'm in 41-50 group. As far as whether or not it's representative of the age of golfers in general... I don't think so. My local course has had to up the number of PGA Jr teams they field the past 3 years in a row. Plenty of younger people out there. We're just the older farts sitting around on a computer to talk about it Rickp and Kenny B 2 Quote In my carry bag: ST-X 10.5* Kai'li Blue R Flex ST-Z 15* Kai/li Blue R Flex ST-Z 4h Linq Blue R Flex Launcher 5h Launcher CBX 6i-PW CBX 54* & 58* Huntington Beach #10 e12 Contact CURRENTLY TESTING - Mizuno Long Game

We're just the older farts sitting around on a computer to talk about it The distribution of ages at a course is probably very regional and economic driven. The age groups for this poll doesn't reflect the age of golfers at our muni, and I expect it's no different at other courses in my area. While we have a group of juniors, most players during the week are over 50... way over. On Fri-Sun the age drops a little as people that work come out to play and except for a few of us "old people", the upper age groups stay home. russtopherb, Rickp and aerospace_ray 3 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I would have got a haircut once every other month. So six times a year, times $20 a haircut, times 20 years is $2,400.00. Then add mileage to and from the hair stylist should put me at $2,800. Then deduct the cost of the clippers $20.00. ( which I still use twice a week) I now have $2,780.00 to spend on golf equipment. I 'll let you know how this philosophy works on the wife!
