SuperDave
I, myself don't have a home course. I play at a few. However, some nicer ones I'd like to call home are at least 30 minutes away. Which is not far, but I'd have to convince my golf partners to go with me all the time. One course, Elks Run Golf Club (Greg Norman design), Batavia, OH, my friends haven't played yet. It might real them in. Sent from my SM-G920V using MyGolfSpy mobile app

revkev
www.bayouclubgolf.com I'm a member at the Bayou club in Largo Florida. Its a very nice club that includes nice amenities that come in handy for my staff and congregants. More important to me is the Tom Fazio course. The greens were just redone a year ago and Fazio himself came down to be sure they were out back to his original intent. There's a nice Friday morning blue tee money game that I enjoy playing in. We have two LPGA players who are members, not in name only, they live and play here and will be happy to take your money although I did get Brittany Lincicome in a Thursday evening putting for fivers once. They are both plus handicaps playing from the Gold tees at over 7,000 yards at sea level so bring your game. We are also the winter home to several Canadian teaching pros and Canadian tour wanna bes. I live equa-distant from the club, Tropicana field, my Church and the St Pete muni where I play in a league. I can be in my dear at the Trop, on the first at Bayou or Mangrove or in front of my altar in 18 minutes from my couch. All are about 7 miles from my house. Several MGSpers have been guests of mine at Bayou. I almost posted a pic of Foz but that's my son John coming out of the pond on 3. I felt like I was riding in a helicopter over your course checking out the scenery and you could actually see cars riding by. Awesome! Was that a drone doing the flyover? I know you LOVE that course! They did the flyover with a drone and t came out great. I love the golf course because they left it alone with all its quirks. Has the only three par 5s on the course in a row followed by two par 3s, plays to a par 71 with a 37-34 split and has the original greens from 1901. The wind dictates how you play the course and for me that is a lot of fun. Not to mention walking a track that Bobby Jones has won a major on is cool in its own right. Ten years ago when Tom Doak was hired he did not do a redesign but rather opted to restore the course to its original layout.
