The deadline for player swaps is on the page next to where your player selection is displayed. It will look like the below:

Round 1: Thu 2/2 9:30 am EST - passed Round 2: Fri 2/3 9:30 am EST - passed Round 3: Sat 2/4 10:50 am EST - passed Next Deadline (Round 4): Sun 2/5 10:50 am EST

 

 

 

Ok I see that now however how do you move players over to "My Foursome" side?    I tried to drag and drop and that's not working.

I tried to use the tip I found on google and I can't find the damn button to change to classic.   

 

 

 

    

Best Answer:  first on the top right corner of your my team screen click classic.

Then next to the player position you'll see a down arrow click it and it will give you a list if all the positions the player is available for including bn

Then move your mouse down to the position you want is highlighted including bn

Then click submit changes and your done

Classic is the lower tech easier way to do it then drag and drop.

Note once you pass the game starting time which is on your my team page next to every player you can not move a player to the next day even if PPD to move a player click the next date which is located on the top of the page once you do that do the steps above

Annnnnnd Brendan Steele fell apart today while Fowler ripped off a solid round today.  I second guessed myself last night when setting the roster for today and reversed Fowler.  Thankfully I moved Webb Simpson into the line up.

Rham Sneds and Spieth on the bench after the 1st round. No biggie, swapped them in.

 

Checked my lineup this morning just after play started AND... I guess they weren't fully loaded into the lineup before I clicked off it. Bc they were still firmly on by bench

I know, guys haven't even started their 2nd round and the deadline is passed.  I hosed on the 2nd round the same way.  Tried to put in Spieth from my bench on thurs night and it said it was in read only mode and no changes could be made.

I just got hosed by Yahoo.   I should have been able to update my roster all day before Round 3 started and was not.  Had a player miss the cut and couldnt switch him out.

 

 

Yahoo disappoints me

Missed out on joining as I never really read forums. I didn't realize you guys ran a Yahoo league. I've run my own Yahoo league for over 15 years now. Never really fell in love with any of the other formats offered, especially that awful Shot Link format the PGA is using for theirs.

 

I remember a few years back when the Yahoo game was the official fantasy game of the PGA tour, now I think it's a matter of time until Yahoo stops supporting it (especially given their sale to Verizon). That being said, there has to be someone in the MGS family with the know how to set up a format similar to the Yahoo one. It might be a good revenue generator for the website as you could allow people to create private groups of their own for a couple of bucks.

 

If anyone is interested in setting it up I have done some excel training and have a spreadsheet that ranks and automatically assigns points based on where a player finishes. I use it as I run my clubs men's league and we have a points system to determine our champion and to qualify us for our annual Ryder Cup style matches against a neighbouring club. I can send you an explanation as to how the formulas work along with the formulas, or I can just set it up. I think having almost a year to get it set up is enough time.

 

I look forward to joining your league next season (as long as Yahoo still supports it).

Hey if any of the groups are not full you should join.  Weekly winners and segment winners can get prizes.  So there is more than just the overall winner that gets a prize.

Thanks!  I joined group 6.  Current season points would have me in 4th in that group, hopefully I can step it up for the summer segment.

At least we are all in the same boat though.  And we do already drop the single lowest weekly score for each segment.

I get that but with a bench there are lots of points that some lost and some did get because of Yahoo.   Very disappointed in them for this.
