I think you hit it on the head there, accuracy is everything. There's a lot of holes on the course where the design was to hit to a certain position if you don't want a funky stance. The length is really deceptive cuz it doesn't account for just how much elevation change there is. One par 3 on the front plays two clubs short because of it and some approaches on the back play two longer lol. The course wasn't that hard. Each one was different. I'd hit a good drive then duff the second, then poor decisions after that. Poor drive, then try to recover. Good drive, good second, poor chip, 3-putt. I felt like I threw away a half dozen shots. Part of the problem is that we played 10 times on 8 different courses, and I never felt comfortable playing a course I didn't know and grass I didn't really like. And that came after only playing on Dec 28-31 since Thanksgiving. Still can't play. It's slowly thawing, but I bet that it will be late next week before we can get out on the course.
