I went through two gloves myself. If was hot and humid and then the rain came. I also like the looks of the glove. I like the wick idea. Anything to help keep the sweat away from the palms.

I am one of those North Queenslanders that tested the Gloves. I have had one that I used for over 6 months. It now looks like something out of the ragbag, All torn & tatty but It still grips well. I used it twice a week , nearly every week during that time. I consider it to be one of the best Gloves I have used. & I might add in wet conditions , It seems to get better , the wetter it gets. Just Bought 2 more off Boz. They are that good.

In general, I'd say the glove was awesome. It didn't get wet at all today in quite humid weathers and they're quite comfy. They'll actually strech over ones wedding ring nicely if you want to wear it while playing. My only problem with them is that the fingers are so grippy that I find the space between my pinky and ring finger on my bottom hand gets chaffed up a bit when using an interlocking grip as it just grips that spot and doesn't let go. Still, awesome glove. Much better then the Callaway's I've got

Thats awesome. I probably go through 10 gloves in 6 months and I wear them until the palm and/or thumb are completely gone. I play 2-3 times a week, but I hit the range every day.

I use Cally gloves also, because I can get the 2 for $15. You can't beat them for the price and they're just as good as any other glove I have available to me. None of them can hold up to my sweaty palm though.

Hi Ad, I tend to do most of my designing around my own wants and needs

to start off with and then through the extended player testing I get

to here how those designs may play in regards to other players wants

and needs.

That being the case with the gloves I have had a couple of other interlock

grippers make mention of this sticky in an akward area issue so I have made

some extra gloves for my testing only at this stage with a new material and

glove makeup that might be a better package for you. Time will tell but at

this stage it is playing well, no extended player group testing till I know

where I am going to sell them.

Cheers, Wayne.

Count me in for the testing.....

I am a 14 handicap, live in Tampa, FL and run a weekly game every Saturday that averages 30 players each week.

Lately, I have been playing 3 times a week.

So count on me to give them a good analysis.

Boz, a ? about the sticky glove. Is it similar to the FJ Spyder glove? I just started playing one of those. So far.. its working well.

Boz can't wait to start rolling with these, and the glove sounds great, been 105 heat index and 10% humidity would love something that doesn't slip in the heat!

Thanks Boz,

I listened to your interview on the radio blog today during lunch......great history lesson on the modern day golfball. Did not know that Pro V1 stood for "Prototype Version 1"

Here's hoping the Vision sticks as well as that one!

pom : Where does one get one of those Vision tag lines?

Good Question ;) I will attempt to find it & post up a link.

This is not the link I was looking for but may help.

http://www.userbars.com/

It is also a link to the Vision website.

Hi Mike & JB, the concept is a little bit like the Spider but the materiaal approach

is different. There has been a few new synthetic materials used in Japan over the past

two year that I believe handle the heat and perspiration issues faced by many golfers.

The other factor is the pressure on many players hands by seams that seem to bite

and low grip levels that requires many players to grip the club tighter than what

I would describe as an optimum tension. This in turn leads to reduced hand speed (distance)

and tired hands (control) by the last 6 holes.

The design to date has been very popular in testing, so we will see how it goes.

Hi Foz, thanks for taking the time and I can only hope so.

Thanks Pom,

There are 5 or 6 versions that one of my Oz TP's built that you

will find on page 1 and 2.

Cheers, Boz.

Thanks Boz. I was running a little short of time to make my Tee slot & the only place I could think of looking was 145 pages of Vision Golf Ball thread. Finally found it with about 2 minutes to spare before I left for the club ;)

Couple of further comments

A: After some more playing, I really dialed the drives in. I was whacking the GelX's 250 with my fairway before the carry on Saturday. Cobra clubs and these vision balls really get along

B: Pinky took a dunk in the lake and is gone. She had provided sterling service (I'll need to nab some more in the next order)

C: Give the balls a bit of time. I'm noticing far more distance and spin out of these balls now that I've got 72 holes in with them then after the first 18 or 32. Don't give up on them, they will work out for you (assuming you talk to Boz and make sure you're getting the right ball for your game/what you want to do on the course).

C: This is so true, Boz has a range of balls that are all a little bit different. They may came in different colours and finishes but there is a ball in the range that will suit your game and reduce your handicap ;)

Glad to hear about the different materials Boz. After playing several rounds with the Spyder, I'm learning just how hot that glove can get. It has GREAT grip, but dang, it doesn't breathe at all.

Awincey- So is the GelX's 250 your ball of choice out of the testing? How is the accuracy? How many fairways did you hit in regulation? Did the pinky compare favorably with the GelX 250? Also did you change your swing when using these balls?

Also I am glad to hear the glove worked out for you. Did you still experience the chaffing?

Sorry for all the questions just wondering.

Thanks, Matt

Hey Matt,

The GelX has been my favorite of the bunch but I'm perfectly happy using the UV or Pinky as well. The GelX is pretty close to the Zstar in terms of performance (I'd say better personally but that might be a mind thing. I personally play better with the GelX). I used the GelX, UV and Pinky on the weekend and hit 8/9 fairways (each ball for 3 holes). The one I missed was when Pinky took a dive in the lake but that was my fault as I was tired from moving and didn't get around square. Pinky is a longer ball then the GelX and I find also a better putting ball while the GelX is more accurate and produces waaaay more spin for chip's/high iron shots. I've also had better hybrid results with the GelX as it gets the height I miss with other balls. No swing change for the balls but I did have to change my swing for the Cobra (tee the ball a quarter inch higher and stand half a foot closer. I'm probably hitting it more like a hybrid then a proper driver but it's working for me).

I am still having the problem with the glove, it chaffes something fierce with the way I grip the club. I'm thinking I might take sand paper or something to the tacky part of the index finger to see if that solves the problem. The glove isn't a big deal to me and I'm pretty visions decked out on the course (the hat and towel live with my bag except for when they get washed). Between those and showing people the balls I'm getting some interesting comments and tentative questions to be sure.

Hi Ad, I just had some info back from a collegue that is running a long drive event in

the UK at a number of indoor sim sites and his testing of the balls had the Pinky producing

the hottest numbers ( there is a blue version to come for those that are concerned about

their colour choice) and it will be the basis of the next GelV -UV.

In regards to the glove you might be able to pick the spots off that are causing you grief

as they are applied to the backing material.

Talk more soon, Boz.

Ok guys the way I am going to approach this initial trial is as follows,

In order to show you where I am up to I will be supplying you all of my current 6

Vision designs so you can see what the story is so far.

All players will get a glove to trial for me except the XL players. Sorry I am not

ready for you guys yet but when I do create more stock to trial I will be in touch.

In order to faciliate this I will be sending more stock to the US tomorrow.

To get things moving I have picked a random group of players that will get shipped

first please advise here once you get your packs guys, so I can check you off please.

The second batch should be ok to go next week.

If this works out for everyone and you think you wnat to help out a bit more I

will loop the group into my TV One live player testing that will be happening here

in Oz by September by the looks of it.

Talk more soon and if you have any questions just sing out,

Remember my whole approach is about either improved visibility or greater contrast

in the colours I use.

Vision - Designed to be Seen.

Cheers, Boz.
