hckymeyer
I got the same one but could not for the life of me get it over the butt end of the club. Was it easy to slip on because it seems too small to go over the grip end? Let's start with the obvious question first, did you take the grip off? hckymeyer
I wonder how this stuff will wear over a bunch of rounds with the putter being taken out and put back in the bag over and over Unless you catch it on something sharp it's going to hold up ok. I had 10+ rounds on a previous putter with it on and no issues. The nice part is that I blow my grips on with air, so if it starts tearing or getting ratty I can just pull the grip and reapply. The stuff I bought was enough to do 3 putters so it's only a dollar or two per installation. It's on my gamer for this season so I'll get a better sense of durability once my course opens and I can get some rounds in. RexS
I just ordered a new Limited Edition SS Skull Grip for my MLA putter and had been looking at black shafts too. This is a great idea and I just ordered some ebay heat shrink to do this. Was gonna put the grip on Friday but, now I will wait until the heat shrink arrives on Monday. Thanks for the idea!!!!! DawgDaddy
OK, my heat shrink arrived yesterday and I put it on my putter. It looks BA to me, love it. Now for a tip to those who blow their grips on. I cut the heat shrink off so it would be about an inch above the end of the grip, I only tape the end of the shaft to keep it from cutting the grip and then blow on the grip. Well, yesterday when I began to blow on the grip the air actually forced itself up the heat shrink tubing and popped it. Good thing I bought the 8' offering as it gave me plenty to redo the shaft. The second time I cut the tape long enough to cover the end of the heat shrink and the grip went on with no problem. Lesson learned. ole gray, RexS, JohnSmalls and 1 other 4 Quote Driver - Rogue ST Max Woods - Rogue ST Max 3, 5 & 7 Woods Irons - Rogue ST Max Wedges - Zipcore RTX 6 50° CBX2 54* & 58* Putter - Evnroll ER2 Rangefinder - NX-10 Slope Ball - Pro Tour Drip Bag - Xtreme Cart 7.0 Bag Heather/Red/White

peakation
This looks so good! How do I get the original grip off an Evnroll ER2 without cutting it? I have a compressor and blow other grips on, but I don't know if it will blow off. Usually iron grips are glued too hard and the air is trapped. I really want to reuse my Evnroll grip.
