Shout out to the MGS staff

I have been participating in the putter testing for the 2017 most wanted testing and wanted to thank the staff at headquarters and all those around the country for all the work they do to put together the reviews, coordinating the testing, participating in the forums, and keeping us informed on the latest golf buzz.

 

Golfspy Sam has been great and is in the unenviable position of obtaining the equipment, coordinating the testers to ensure we do the tests in a timely manner and on our schedules , and then putting up with our constant chatter and desire to keep playing with the toys. And then once he has recorded all our stats he will then have to analyze the results, write up the articles, and take all the necessary photos.

 

Ultimately what we see on this site is just a small part of what they all do on a day to day basis. Thank you MGS team for all you do to inform the masses about the golf industry!

Really looking forward to the results and without doubt there was and is plenty of work nobody really hears about. GolfSpy Dave (who I do know) and Shawn who is someone I think is a great asset as well. Dave because he really knows all about putters and Shawn just seems like a great person.

The others, really don't know anything about them other than their persona around here.

I won't presume to speak for the rest of the staff, but thank you for the kind words. For the most part, we're all volunteer/part-timers and we do this because you guys make it fun.  

 

You members make MGS what it is, we're only the caretakers - so thank you for all you do to make this the great place that it is!

As Barbajo said, we do our best to keep this place the best place to talk golf on the internet. While we are human and things get in the way from time to time, I can promise you that absolutely every staffer here gives a damn and we are all working towards a common goal.

I'll echo Cnosil's thoughts. I really appreciate the hard work eceyone on staff at MGS does. And they do it without publicly talking about how much work it is.

 

Also Thanks to those who are taking part in the Most Wanted Testing. Most members may not know what a huge time commitment it is.

 

Its not a just show up one afternoon and hit 50 balls type of thing.

 

Their efforts will aid all of us in our club considerations this year.
