SeeMore FGP Ghost

So my SeeMore FGP Ghost project is almost done. I've had this one black previously, but decided to redo it and ghost it.

 

I also added weight to the voids in the back with lead powder and a thick epoxy I can get from work. It works great. Didn't really weigh head because this has been weighted like this for a long time. It's really heavy like I like this putter. This is the second time I've redone this one, first time was a satin black powdercoat. This time it's a white powdercoat. The weighted area was painted white to match the powdercoating (epoxy and baking the powder don't work, so I have to paint the weighted portion). I did lime and smoke clear paintfill to match the rest of my bag. I replaced the shaft with a new shaft from SeeMore and added a white medium Iomic that I customized. Got the headcover from SeeMore. Still have to clean up the paintfill and she's finished.

Putter looks great ! I love the Iomic grip, did it come like that or did you make the letters green on that also ?

The Iomic was white and silver originally.

Thats an awesome looking putter. Personally i wouldn't have gone for the green dot, but thats just me.

The only thing with going with a white tip is it would've blended too well with the head and it would've been impossible to really see the dot being hid IMO. Plus these shafts are hard to come by when trying to get SeeMore to send you one. After a long conversation with Jim at SeeMore, I talked them into it and a white headcover (seen in the pictures). I'm not saying what he charged me or if he charged me at all, but I will say I was happy with the service I got from them. As for pulling the old shaft, it was a PITA. Their epoxy is like crackhead epoxy or something. I've never had to heat one that hot and twist the shaft off and then use an EZ-out on a shaft in a putter before. This one was like trying to pull a 1,000 pound grizzly off a fresh kill with bare hands.

I only mentioned it because I have reshafted these in the past. We just took a regular True Temper putter shaft taped it off around 12 inches or so and put on some thick flat black spray paint. It worked awesome, you couldn't tell the difference from the original.

That is actually how they did the original shafts with the black band...taped it off and spray painted it.

Then they went to the second method shortly and it also included a SeeMore logo. The new ones are dipped and the logo is gone again.

I was talking about the second method being sprayed and having the SeeMore logo included on them (I don't know how they did the logo, badge or was it just a stencil?) That's what I was referring to, the inclusion of the logo.
