I did it for a few months with mixed results.  Out of the 4 boxes I received I've worn a pair of shorts and a shirt.  Also got some shoes that are nice, but just not my style.

 

At the end of the day I decided I was better off shopping elsewhere for clothes.  I'd rather take the $45 a month and put it towards places like budgetgolf's winter clearance.  I can get what I want and probably better deals.

 

First box is worth it at $25.  Also if people use your referral code and you keep getting discounts I'd stay in. 

 

Overall a cool idea and it's always fun opening the boxes.  Just be prepared that not everything is exactly what you might want.

I second this opinion. 

 

I enjoyed the name brand polos (dunning, adidas, puma) and the sligo pants but hated when they would ship their in house brand pants. I'd say I use 60% of the stuff I got for 5 months. I put my account on pause for a few months to see if they can get their act together. I'll drop my membership if the March box isn't up to my standards. Good in theory but if you're particular with your golf attire, you will have some disappointing months.

I agree with the SP4 self branded stuff (in six months I have received a pair of pants and a pullover under their own label) that I was disappointed in.  However, I think their "Mulligan" option is huge.  You can exchange anything you get from them for a different product from their "Mullilgan Shop".  It does cost $9.95 to do so, but includes shipping both ways.  I have gotten some great stuff this way.  Most recently some more Travis Mathew apparel and Linksoul in the past.  Definitely try them out for the first month at $25 even if you cancel right away.  Great deal at that price. Use this referral for your $20 off first box.

First box was a Travis Mathews polo that I'm very happy with. 2nd item was a "short par 4" brand 3/4 zip pullover. I didn't really care for it bc I have 1000 but it wasn't bad. Excited to see my 2nd box

It was hit or miss for me but I did it for a few months right when they started out. I would do it for the sheer excitement of getting something every month. You will definitely get stuff you don't like but say you luck out on one item and it basically makes the entire box worth it if you used a discount code.

Just wanted to give an update on the short par 4 boxes. They have been great. Been getting a lot of nice polos. Yes they have been shipping out there own brand but they are manufactured by big name brands. Have received some nice belts and hats lately as well.

Bad experience with them. They sent the same short 2 months in a row, pants never fit right. Getting in touch with customer service was rough, first 2 boxes were great then they just went down hill

Update...haven't wore either Callaway shoe yet and have cancelled my sub...just kept getting their own branded stuff every month and one of the ugliest pairs of shorts I've ever seen. Oh well

I've started to put mine on hold for a few months at a time and get maybe 4-5 boxes/year. They used to be great at including brands like Adidas, Matte Grey, etc but it seems like I was getting more SP4 branded stuff lately, thus my scaling back. The exchange thing was nice, but it just cost more money to exchange something you didn't like. A $45/month box with something you don't like costs $65/month...and their mulligan shop is pretty weak.
