He was a member of the U.S. parachute jumping team at the world championships. He took up golf a couple of years ago, and he is now a 5 index. Why do I mention this in the Car Thread? My 2014 Dodge Charger R/T is now 3 years old; just turn 46K miles. Cliff drove his 1969 Charger R/T to the course this week. It also just turned 46K miles. In a manner of speaking, a car had a rather significant impact on me. I was in jr, high school and went with my father to a Chevy dealer. My father was looking for the typical family Biscayne. While he was with the salesperson, I wondered around the showroom and there it was-a brand new Corvette. I immediately said to myself--one of these days. Well, in 1977, I took delivery of my first Corvette right off the showroom floor. Several years later, I got married and my Corvette days were over.
