Played last weekend in Lexington; an annual deal I've been lucky to be invited into. Weather looked horrid; but turned out really nice. U of K Golf Club, Cherry Blossom & Houston Oaks. I'd recommend them all!

Great time, glad to finally meet another spy. Originally had a grumpy face from that brutal tee shot (ended up with a smooth 9 on that hole) but it was a beautiful sunny day on the golf course.

Played twice this weekend for first time in a while. Saturday was Riverlakes, scramble tournament. Started strong was 6 under after 8 but finished 9 under total. Couldnt get anything going after a hot start

one is a big ol snapping turtle that was guarding one of the greens.  He was about 18 inches front to back and stared me down the entire time I went by him.  Those snappers are mean!

 

other one is the statue that was made to commemorate the 1913 US Open in Brookline of Ouimet and Lowery.  Our league course borders The Country Club and since it is private they gave it to the course where we play so the public can see it and appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure these little guys kept my ball in play. A little shy from the camera but they make a cute couple.
