Here's a pic I snapped on Thursday for our summer solstice round. 9th tee at the Pitt Meadows Golf Club. Tee'd off at 5:36 and just snuck in the 18. Great evening.

Here's a pic of the 8th hole at McCullough Emerald Links in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. (Replica of Turnberry). Nice links course with 18 holes all replicating holes found on championship courses overseas, including Turnberry, Carnoustie, St. Andrew's, Royal Troon and Royal Portrush!! Great course and layout. Tough track if you're not ready for it lol

Weather was beautiful. Scores were bad all the way around. All time bad for one of my rounds.

 

The 790's definitely struggled with the new swing and soggy course conditions.

Here some course pics. Overall beautiful Jack Nicklaus design. But boy is it tough. My flight played tees at 6041

With a slope of 132.

 

MDGH Flight played the first two rounds at 6350 then the 3rd round at our tees.

It kicked our ass's. I think you'd enjoy it. Maybe we should go back down in the fall when they reopen. They are closing July 5th or so to switch to Bermuda fairways--dont say it---and completely replace all their bunkers---badly needed.

No sir, it is a course near Quantco, VA about 25 miles south of DC.

 

MDGH and I played in a 54 hole tournament there yesterday. It's an annual event we've done for about 15 years or so. Best day of golf all year, but it's getting tougher and rougher each year on this old body.

 

Ha. I was a young pup of 41 the first year I played in it 🤪

I bet Paul Casey hates trees after this past week be too. Punished for hitting the fairway...

The golf gods literally took a dump on him with that tree. That paired with Bubba playing some unconscious golf on Sunday.. Very unlucky

I get to play the Wildcat every year when I visit my sister. It's only 10 minutes from here house. I really enjoy the elevation changes......especially after playing Florida courses all year. The other thing I like is the grass....the 4” rough is brutal, but a challenge I enjoy.

I'll be playing this course in two weeks. Looks like it's in great condition!

5 and 14 are the hardest imo. Both are up hill. You either make it or rollback city. Also 14 is extremely curved on the green. Not flat really at all.

Greens are great. Little eye sore with the stands being setup but nothing in the way.

Over by 14 if you look across the fence that is Paramus Golf Club, a public that borders Ridgewood. Decent track also if you ever get the chance.
