Yup, you never, ever walk a small dog near any freakin water that could have gators. Those little dogs are snack size to the gator. Sand thing happened to a guy walking his gig here a couple years ago. Luckily he and the dog survived.

I've seen idiot grandparents have their little grandkids looking for lost golf balls in ponds next to golf courses. Real idiots.

Had to call FL Fish & Wildlife about a Racoon on the course today. Apparently he was injured because he would not move from an area just off #18 cart path...

A friend of mine used to live in Naples, FL on a golf course.  When the gators got too big, whatever that was, they were relocated.

My wife took this pic before we started our round on Sunday.  It was also before the heavy smoke rolled in when we made the turn.  Looks like a foggy winter day, but it was 75º at 8am.

I love FURRY animals, but gators?

 

Shouldn't they really be shoes, belts, and, and pocketbooks?

 

Reminds of the year the UF football press guide was printed with crocodiles on the cover.

Miami and FSU wouldn't let them live it down.

 

UF was praying that the Dolphins would put  porpoises on their press guide to get them off the hook.

The term “relocate” gators in FL means shoes, belts, wallets etc. what they do is call in professional gator trappers and the fee is they keep the gator. The “relocation” happens when the gator becomes a nuisance or a danger .

Paramus Golf Club NJ

 

By chance I wound up playing with Troy Merritt's caddy Wayne Birch. They are playing the Northern Trust (formerly Barclays) next door and was playing something local on his off time. Great to watch him and his buddies in action! Very cool group. Just happy to tag along with them on this round. Go ‘Draino' :)

The 18th at Magnolia Greens Golf Club. What a phenominal facility. Not just course. Everything from the pro shop, restaurant, practice area that is good as any I've seen. The grass range jndoor/outdoor teaching academy, halfway house. All just first class.

Last day this summer for the junior program. My 7 year old finished third overall and first for the girls group. My 9 year old lost to the younger one by a point and finished second in the girls group and fifth overall. Really fun day at my club today.
