The Gold is longer with bunkers galore. I played relatively well but my score didn't reflect my efforts because I was in the sand on at least 70% of the holes. I was able to escape the bunkers but not once was I able to save Par settling for a Bogey each time I entered the beach. The staff is awesome and the pace of play is managed well. If you ever travel to Maui I highly recommend these three courses over the much more glamorous Plantation Course. I really wanted to play the Plantation but we had heard some of the forced carries might be a struggle for him. All this was about 18 years ago (Kapalua Village Course was still a thing), so my memory is pretty fuzzy. Had a really bad rep for being tight and difficult and over the years they really improved it, but couldn't shake the initial rep so it's never too crowded. Leaves are annoying but the staff does a great job if clearing the greens which helps.Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app Rickp and Har in the Hat 2 Quote as of Nov 6, 2023 (Past WITB) Driver: Paradym TD w/ GD ADDI 6X Driver Shootout!
