3.5” from a hole in one today...

Wow! What kind of grass is that the greens are made of? I've never seen anything like it. This isn't a put down by any means but I've seen lawns that look more closely mowed. That stuff is thick and shaggy. How do they putt? Pretty slow I'd imagine. Unusual looking divot too. I guess I need to get out more. LOL

$10 gallons of milk, million-dollar teardown houses, and never free shipping - this is my reward!

I do wonder if you ever get used to views like this or, if whenever you look up it seems surreal and like a painting.

Thanks for sharing....nice to see the sun is out somewhere.  🙂

Personally, I take it for granted during the week amidst the chaos of real life. Being on the golf course puts everything back in perspective for me. I could live somewhere infinitely cheaper, but this is where I belong!

Great question, I am not entirely sure as to what it is. KY Bluegrass I believe. They are actually normal speed. I've definitely putted on much slower greens around here. And no offense to me, I don't get paid to be the greens keeper there, I just play! 😂

I thinned my PW on the shot. Probably why the divot looks so weird. Was coming in HOT!

You mean like this ? 🖕

An appropriate gesture coming from those of us hibernating and can only dream of golf.

Some pictures from the front 9 today at Blue Heron in Carnation, WA. This course sits at the base of the Cascade mountains and runs right along the Snoqualmie river. They usually have the back 9 closed due to flooding from the river.

The scenery out there is gorgeous. It’s never busy. It’s $20 a round. And today the weather was 60° and sunny. You just couldn’t pass it up!

It was a great place to go practice my new swing touch ups from my lesson earlier this
morning. Flattening out backswing a bit and staying shallow on my follow through.

Nice! The weather was fantastic today. Definitely not typical for Seattle in January!Really wanted to play, but I had to work (at a golf course, which made it even harder).

Mt Rainier in the background. Beautiful day today. Willows Run, Coyote Creek in Redmond, WA.

NOT a beautiful day on the other side of Mt. Rainier.  We are sitting in an inversion weather pattern for the next 3 days.  High 35º Low 31º and foggy.  Hole #7 shown

My wife and I walked 18 today with another guy.  First time she has walked our course.  I told her I was going to walk because I can stay warmer than riding in a cart, even with a cover on it... no heater!  Shot an uninspired 83.

Brrrrr! At least the snow hasn’t hit! I’m with you on walking! Keep the blood pumping. And get some good steps in! I feel like this time of year you almost walk just as much in a cart because it’s path only. Save the extra $ for another round!

Except for the winter 2 years ago, we don't usually get snow.  We will get a few flurries now and then but it's really dry and it just blows around.  Only one day we couldn't play this winter... so far!  But I'm headed to AZ this weekend anyway.
