Soldier hollow golf course in Midway, Utah. This Texan was loving the layout, weather and scenery.

Played 90 holes in 3 days last weekend. Here are a few of my favorite photos:

18th at Owls nest in NH:

(I’m the not tall one)

First tee shot at ridgewood in NH:

One of my buddies:

North Conway CC:

My friend was the shortest (thanks SuperSpeed!) the middle ball was from a newer golfer playing up a set of tees, but we were basically a direct line to the flag. It was pretty awesome!

The train rolling by the 9th green.

We left the flag in most of the weekend.

Some stunning views for sure! Those elevation changes made for some long drives.

We’re already planning a trip back again next year. I really liked the layout except for maybe 3 holes that were very up or downhill.

Yeah.... the 2nd time around is much different; you know the landing spots and when/how to go for it.

Some of the views are fantastic and it is definitely a challenge!

Yes it is! So far I’m liking the two Nicklaus designed courses I’ve played! (Owl’s Nest and Pine Hills) they have a different feel than a lot of the courses around. And I can say enough about all of the staff that we ran into at Owl’s Nest. Top notch service and our starter was the best.

The elevated par-4 17'th tee box from the tips at Boise Ranch (not me hitting...nor to the left...took pic...)

Best view in Boise. Hit right at Shafer Butte which overlooks Bogus Basin Ski resort in the shadowed mountains way up there and you'll have about 170 or so (for me any-hoo) to carry the creek that runs in front of the green's false-front. I had hit a perfect one this time then had a laser 7w that put me on in 2. Bogie...

Played with my eldest son at Lincoln Park East in OKC this evening and I snapped this shot coming off the 16th green:

I was fortunate enough to be invited out for a round at my buddy's private course - Franklin Country Club; there is a 5 figure initiation fee to join and it's not exactly cheap from there but my goodness does membership have it's privileges..
One of the nicest ranges I've ever been to.  As many Titleist practice balls as you could want, alignment sticks available at every hitting station.

IMG_20190710_104032.jpgIMG_20190710_103602.jpg

The course was immaculate...not a single weed anywhere.  The fairways were lush and the greens were amazing. Tough - very tough - but fair and true and smooth as a babies bottom.

IMG_20190710_121341.jpgIMG_20190710_134009.jpgIMG_20190710_132811.jpgIMG_20190710_134741.jpgIMG_20190710_150111.jpgIMG_20190710_145054.jpgIMG_20190710_154019.jpgIMG_20190710_155452.jpg

And they had the fancy-shmancy golf carts with automated tracking and GPS...

IMG_20190710_125555.jpg

Whew - i'd never get bored of this place!

That's awesome!  My friend's uncle is a member there so he usually plays it once or twice per year.  I haven't been there with them yet but that looks really nice!  Didn't realize you were so close by!  I'm in Bellingham on the Medway line.
