Thanks I see Sept 13 1927---- Seriously I bet that thing hits pretty good with a modern soft ball. I do know from my hickory experiences a lot of those hickory irons will jar the teeth out of your head hitting a modern hard ball or range rocks

My not so little 13 year old playing in the twilight. He is about a year away from hitting it by me.

Here are a few pics I took of Timberton Golf Course in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Completely Bermuda, including the greens. The “normal” for me down here.

Nice course, but too many blind tee shots, and “rinky-dink” Par 5s that required 4 iron or less off the tee.

On this hole I hit my drive just short of the green, and over the left trap. GPS showed 285 to the trap.

Still made par!

Reems Creek in Weaverville, NC. IMG_2909.JPGIMG_2908.JPGThis is what happens when you are hitting your approach shot from a highly elevated fairway. I am surprised this green was in as good a shape as it was. IMG_2911.JPGIMG_2907.JPG

His stance/setup/posture looks very good. I like how he holds the club too. (assuming he's not intentionally gripping down a hair) I think too many people tend to hold the club too far out on the butt end without exposing about 1/2" past the palm.

Yes... He'll be past you soon. Sorry Dad!

Thanks. I have always had a little of the butt end of the club out of my left hand and he just learned it from me.

Bayonet in perfect 75* weather with no wind. No pics of poppy because it was a tourney but you must visit the lone cypress when on 17 mile drive.
