Storms ripped through Tuesday night and did a bit of damage to my local muni. 3+ inches of rain. Took out some big, old trees and washed out many of the bunkers. Some of those trees saved some wayward shots for me over the years. Going to take some time to get things back in order. Alright so it's not the course, it's our suite at the Hilton Garden Inn at PGA Village in Port St Lucie. Waiting on tomorrow's round.

We scored this room for a song. Always stay at Hilton's because they represent value - quality at a reasonable price. Sort of the Ping of hotels.

BTW that scotch is a value too - an 18 year old for $46 courtesy of total wines and spirits.

IMG_1308.JPG

Back up humidor came with. It has six Rocky Patel's in it.

I will take a few pics from the course tomorrow.

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Tour Exotics 3 wood is in the bag because we are allowed 14 clubs.  It's a great club for pulling balls out of the water or from bushes - you never want to put your hand into anything in Florida unless you are absolutely certain that it's safe.  There are rare wind conditions when I might hit it off the tee on a few holes that I play.

Barbajo turned me on to these when I stayed in Minneapolis a couple of years ago for a wedding that I was doing - last be them. I can't believe how reasonable they are.

Here's some from the Dye Course:

Fun day - I asked to be paired up but they were empty. Played solo in under 3 hours dropping a few balls or hitting an extra tee shot or two with the Swing Caddie out.

Beautiful day, hit a lot of great shots including a 283 yard drive - pushed it a bit, hit the waste area and kicked out into a fairway down a hill. [emoji56]

That was actually one of two poor drives I hit all day. Shot 78! Hit tons of flush shots and it was only a lack of course familiarity that cost me a better score.

It was nice to get a little roll - only three hours from my house but no where near as wet.

Timbers @ Troy, Elkridge MD

Had a 7:20am tee time. Foggy and wet for awhile. Made the greens real slow also. I think the place has potential but with the weather all screwy like this it was not as enjoyable. +side the cheesesteak was good.

It was hot today. Played out at Whirlwind, Devils Claw. Stay hydrated 🏌️‍♂️I have actually never played Kokopelli. How is it? I don't get over that way too often.
