Severtheties
I'm excited to see what everyone drinks. I drink craft beer from time to time. I used to love trying EVERYTHING craft beer wise but I suffer from gout and beer seems to inflame it severely. I'm also a rum fan. I tried really hard to get into the bourbon thing and just can't do it. Too many bad nights drinking whisky when I was younger. Just the smell of bourbon/whisky makes me want to hurl. downlowkey 1 Quote Driver - Tour Edge Exotics XCG 7 Beta w/ Paderson shaft 44" Fairway Metal - Vapor Fly 15* w/ Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 65F 43" Irons - SLDR 4i-pw w/ KBS Tour C-Taper 90S Wedges - 54* and 58* Digger grind Putter - 2015 GoLo 3 33"
downlowkey
Are there any Scotch drinkers other than Rev and myself? If so.... what do you like?My favorite single malt is Dalwhinnie 15 year. And when I can find it, the Distiller's Edition from the same label finished in oloroso casks. Based on how fast the fingers fall in the few bottles that made it to my house, it's arguably too good. silver & black and ddryan 2 Quote PXG___0811 X 9* - Mitsubishi Diamana s60 Limited X Cobra___S9-1 Pro 15* - Matrix Ozik XCON 7 S Adams___XTD Forged 3i - Matrix Ozik Program F15 120 S Adams___CMB 4-PW - Matrix Ozik Program F15 120 S KZG___Tri-Tour 50.08__54.10__58.12 - Accra iCWT 2.0-95i S Nike___Method Converge B1-01 (copper insert) Maxfli___'23 Tour X "The most important shot in golf is the next one“

Jiro
Are there any Scotch drinkers other than Rev and myself? If so.... what do you like?Yes! Been drinking Chivas Regal and Highland Park lately. Whiskey in general is my spirit of choice (except I haven't been as much of a fan of Irish Whiskey for whatever reason). There are also some really good Japanese whiskeys out there. If you like scotch, you will probably like Japanese whiskey, I think they imported a lot of the distilling practices from Scotch, just can't call it that because it is not made in Scotland. This one below is pretty good--I think I'll need to have a glass 🥃 tonight. silver & black
I like Blanton's too. I just refuse to pay the price for it anymore. It's always been a very good Bourbon, but it also has always been overpriced for what it is. Just my .02.

If I want a good smooth bourbon I pick up a bottle of Elijah Craig and it's as good as it gets IMO. Elijah Craig is a favorite of mine too. It is no longer age stated, as are so many bourbons these days. Pappy used to be made at Stitzel Weller. Buffalo Trace makes it now. There was alot of SW juice left when BT took it over. It ran out a few years ago and BT now makes it on their own. It's good, but not what it once was. It is hard to find because it's made in small quantities and released once a year in the "Antique Collection" which includes Sazarac Rye, George T Stagg, Pappy, Weller Larue Weller. Most of it is allocated in small amounts to certain states... and mostly restaurants. Good luck finding any of it, and if you do... affording it! ole gray
