Should anyone be looking for help deciding on their Golf trip travel plans .. I have worked in the golf travel business for the past 25 years. Jerr I'm actually working on a trip to Ireland this June. 3 couples, 2 of us arriving in Shannon and then meeting the others in Dublin 3 days later. Guys will either play Lahinch or Bally on the Shannon side then from Dublin will be Portmarnock and Island. Perhaps the European Club or Ardglass if time and wives allow.

 

The real Q is about the west portion. Our choices seem to be Lahinch and hang around Galway for a couple days then rail over to Dublin (nobody wants to drive) or hop around to points south and play Bally and do small village stuff. That seems a lot harder to pull off without a car but girls may be more engaged.

 

If YOU were flying into Shannon then meeting up in Dublin days later what would your schedule look like?
