TESTERS ANNOUNCED: PING Glide 2.0 Wedges

Recommended Posts

Tony

Picton, Ontario

Handicap. 16

Age 59

I would like to test the New Ping Glide 2.0 wedges.

I am a big Ping fan. I currently have K15 driver and 3-wood, all 5 G15 hybrids, I3-O irons. All RH, reg flex. All with mcc4 grips.

My current wedges, 52, 56, 60 degree are Nike.

I would love try to add the Ping Glide 2.0 wedges to my set.

My short game is one of the stronger areas in my game, but a bit inconsistent. When I chip well, I score well.

Between real grass and and optishot simulator, I play about a 130 rounds a year.

Thanks for listening.

I spend a significant amount of time in the short game practice area at our course. Distance control is a strength thanks to the Pelz method!.  Bunker play could use some fine tuning.

I am gaming the original Glide wedges.  I would love to put the new up against the old.  Here's what I need:

All 3 standard length, Nippon Modus 3 Tour 105 shafts, Blue dot, New Decade MCC grip.

50 degree, Standard Sole - Custom Lob Combo Grind,

54 degree, bend it to 55, Standard Sole, Lob Combo Grind,

60 degree Thin Sole, Half Moon Grind,

Looking forward to giving these a try!!!  I's's send pics of how the custom grinds look, I have the Back/Heel grind on my current 50.  The custom grind program at Ping is pretty awesome.  They come out looking great!  Thanks for your consideration!

50 degree SS grind

60 degree TS grind

I am a senior player but still play to a three handicap. I've been a longtime Adams player but am looking to make a switch

Weakness would be bunker play.

Strengths I would say 90 yards and in. I love when I'm able to use any of my wedges. My go to from 90 out would be my 52 and from 60 in my 60 degree.

I would like to test the WS grind 52 and 60 standard length true temper s300 shafts with mcc plus grip.

Name: Lee Pruiett

Town/State: Garland Texas 75043

Strengths: None

Weakness: Full shots from off green, chip shots, pitch shots, sand shots.

I am a senior golfer and I would like to try the 50 degree, 52 degree and 56 degree with senior shafts. I carry a 18 handicap and my short game is the worst. Looking for some improvement.

James

my short game struggles a lot with distance due to my my older wedges. i also tend to not swing all the way through my shots. however, my wedge play from 75 yd plus is the best part of my game, hands down.

I would like to get these in standard length, 60/es, 56/ts and 52/ts all with the gold Ping DYLA-Wedge grip and true temper S300 shafts.

Heres Hoping!
