ChristopherKee
I previously played the Glide 1.0 with some success and decided, for no good reason, to go back to forged Japanese steel for a bit. Short game is suffering since so this may be the right direction again. Thanks for the opportunity to serve the MGS community. Name: Christopher State: Virginia Short game Strength: My wedge play between 60-125 yards is the part of my game I pride myself on the most. It makes up for my lack of putting and helped get me to a 3.2 handicap. Short game Weakness: Inside 60 yard pitches and chips. I like to use the bounce of a club and I'm having a hard time finding a wedge that matches how I want to play from the conditions in my area (50% soft and wet, 50% dry and hard). To try and get my short game back on track I have even gone as far as self grinding my Vega wedges to interact with the turf on long chips and pitches. Overall this is where I lose the most strokes. Dexterity: Right handed PING Setup: I normally shaft with standard DG S400 but if chosen I would like to stay with the AWT 2.0 shaft. I hear NIPPON put this together for PING and I'm interested in the performance. The listed torque and trajectory numbers look very interesting. I also play all my wedges at the same length with 5° gaps between. I have an L/L machine and tend to tweak for gaping as needed. GAP Wedge: 52° SS bent to 51° (take some bounce out). Shaft PING AWT 2.0 (X if possible W if not) @ 36.75" length D5 swing weight. Lie bent to 62°. Sand Wedge: 56° SS. Shaft PING AWT 2.0 (X if possible W if not) @ 36.75" length D5 swing weight. Lie bent to 62°. Grip Lob Wedge: 60 TS bent to 61° (add a little bounce). Shaft PING AWT 2.0 (X if possible W if not) @ 36.75" length D5 swing weight. Lie bent to 62°. For grip I prefer to tape and grip myself. I build my grips up a certain way. I normally just order stock grip with 5 wraps of tape to and the same weight feel so they can get swing weight proper when building. If selected I'll give the PING Dyla-Wedge grip a go in gold with 1 wrap under left hand and 3 under right.

Rogina
Mark Rogina Quesnel B.C , Canada My current wedges are Ping Glide 56ss & 60ss RH standard. Chipping and pitch shots are the weakest part of my game. I found my Glide wedges to be inconsistent on full shots. Have been thinking about trying another brand of wedges, the Glide 2.0 wasn't on my try list but I'd give them a try and review if i was picked. 50ss / 54ss / 58ss RH standard shaft
