I was just digging around on my home courses website this morning and found they had uploaded a drone video tour of the course.  I thought it was pretty cool and figured I share it.

Have any of your courses done this?

Learned the hard way that you don't want to miss long on your approach shots! Love how different the 9's are, and one of these days I'm going to figure out how to play 14 and 15 -- maybe just write down double-bogey for each one and move directly to 16.

I've been here 6 years and hundreds of rounds.  Still trying to figure out a better tee option on 15.

From what I can see there is a lot to like about your course Meyer. Looks fairly difficult in some ways. A few observations... #7 looks to have 2 separate greens? #8 is a large double green? #9 appears to be a trouble maker if you fail on your approach.

I like the looks of #14 although it looks pretty challenging.... you hit a nice draw off the tee but a narrow approach to the green with large trees bordering the pathway in, and #16 with a split fairway. Decisions decisions...

Nice looking course IMO.

Yeah, 7 has 2 greens so it changes from day to day which is played.  8 is a long par 4 with a huge green  The right side is 2-3' higher than the left so it's trouble if you aren't on the right tier.  9 is a par 5 that is reachable for me if it's calm or down wind.  Very much a risk reward hole.  We have a split fairway on 11, and #12 is a long par 3 with split tees.  Right side is flatter but close to OB, left side is elevated.

14 isn't terrible, just don't go left off the tee.  It's a 3 shot par 5 but the green is severely sloped with 3 tiers and you don't want to be on the wrong level.  #15 is a real tester.  OB right and tree's left, big dog leg left.  Need a 200-230ish tee shot to have a shot at the green.

Yeah.. it looks like a fun and interesting design. Challenging. I assume it's a par 72? What's the rating and slope if you know?

What's your best score?

Par 72.  72.8/127 from the gold tee's that we play.  Just over 6600yds.  Here is a link to the scorecard.

My best score is even par 72.  Did it once last year while missing 6', 3' and 2.5' birdie putts.

Pretty good shooting Meyer. That distance is right at my outer limit so I think I'd be better served from the Middle (Black). At least for the first few rounds anyway. Probably forever. I play the men's regular tee at my home course where the card measures 6030 yds. Sounds short but it somehow manages to eat my lunch on occasion. Damn game!

Nice track you got there. I like it.
