djahubes
I've had shafts pured. Can't see any difference. If it's included in the fitting sure, if you are paying an up charge, forget it Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
cathat72
Yeah, from what little I've read, it's either like it or not, no in between. I figured what the hell since I was having new shafts installed anyway.
mnfats95
I recently bought a new driver and changed shafts in my hybrids and they were pured as part of the whole thing. I have no idea what I'm supposed to get out of it. I figure it probably won't hurt anything. Quote "I'd play a ladies set of clubs if it allowed me to break par." GolfSpy Barbajo
This is an interesting topic. I recently spoke with one of the founder of Club Champion - they're a big proponent of Puring. He gave some interesting rationale and showed me what they call the "Wiggle Stick" that demonstrations what Puring does. I'll go over the notes and present his view on it. They do charge $30 per shaft for the service, which may explain part of their enthusiasm. I would never trust a company that is trying to sell me a service about something like that. You have shaft companies that say it's pointless and that's who I'd trust 2 Quote G410 LST 9* Tour AD DI 6X G425 LST 14.5* Tour AD DI 7X 818 H2 20* Tour AD DI 85X MP20 HMB 4 - Tour AD 95X JPX 919 Tour 5-PW OBAN CT 115X(-) Vokey SM7 52F - 58D PLD Milled Anser 2 ProV1
Liberty Ball Markers
I agree - and I guess it is supposed to make your shafts more consistent? I'm pretty sure that my old factory s300's are more consistent than my swing anyway!
