I am blessed to have an older brother that grew up with and introduced me to the "original" trilogy, so #4 is my favorite. The Mickey Mouse investment has made for some great new movies and storylines. I can't wait to see what is next. However, absolutely nothing compares with the first Jedi mind tricks, the cantina band, or whether Han shot first. I am biased for multiple reasons, but I'll take red all day long! Orange Hog Posted March 29, 2017 Share Posted March 29, 2017 Rogue One is actually my favorite SW film of all time, despite no real Jedi action. Very, very closely followed by ROTJ and Empire Strikes Back. Episode 3 was the only really tolerable film from the most recent trilogy. Very much enjoyed Episode 7 and look forward to what they'll do with Episodes 8 and 9 and the stand-alone films. As for driver shaft, gotta go with blue. I agree, the Star Wars franchise is in good hands. Can't wait for the Han Solo movie. As far as my driver shaft, I think the Nike Volt color would be good. Kind of a mix, could be a Jedi, but on a bad day might snap and be a Sith. Other than that I can't stand that color. I enjoyed Rogue One a lot even though it is not part of the 9-ilogy. 4-6 were the best. 7 was good but liked it better *spoiler* the first time it came out as #4. PMookie Posted April 1, 2017 Share Posted April 1, 2017 I have no idea what the numbers are for each movie, but I remember going to the Wayside Theater, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, with my Dad, to see the ORIGINAL, first movie, Star Wars. Mannnnnn. I loved that movie! My Dad loved it too. He bought the VINYL album of the John Williams score to the movie and I would play it on the record player daily for weeks!!! Is it a good movie now? It definitely lacks the CG that modern movies have, but it was, and always will be, the best Star Wars movie for story and plot line. Whatever the one with Jar-Jar Binks in it will ALWAYS be my least favorite. Worst character in a SW movie EVER! So, shaft? Hmm. I love blue, but I also love emerald green! Tough to choose.
