Supersoft is probably my favorite.  The deal and customization on Pro V1s got me in the door on them.  If Supersoft came in custom numbers I'd buy a truckload.

Really need to try those Wilson FG Tours. Heard a lot of good things about them. When I first started playing, I used to play the Wilson smart core balls, mainly because they weren't top flights which, even as a beginner, we're just too hard for me. Plus they sold the smart cores in two 12-packs for cheap.

Gotta be the Taylormade TP RED. Had great flight, just the right spin and you could flight it up or down. I bought a ton when they got discontinued

Early on, I loved to play balata balls, Titleist or Hogan.  Later on, I played the Spalding Tour Edition, one of the first good-performing solid balls.  I think Greg Norman played them, they spun like crazy.  I remember first time I played ProV1s, and I was in love.  Now, I'm stuck on the Snell MTB.

I never was much of a balata player. I hit too many thin shots if you know what I mean. But like Dave I did like and play the Tour Edition for a number of years.

Now I play all sorts of "tour" quality balls. They're all good.

Used to love the Callaway hex black when they were made. Taylormade penta was another one I really liked. Now I'm in a pretty steady diet of Bridgestone B330.

I always feel I have favorite golf balls depending on the club. Anyone else run into this?

My favorite driving ball of all time is the Taylormade PentaTP5, the distance and control I had are like any ball I try and find.

With irons I love the Snell or Nike RZN Black (2014) played the best ball-striking round of my life with that one. Played a #2 and it lasted all the way around TPC Scottsdale

My wedges didn't like the PentaTP5. Ate those up like a lawnmower (the only complaint about those)

I love the feel of the Bridestone B330 BEFORE the "dimple-in-dimple" design. Loved the feel off the wedge face.

Currently my favorite off the wedge is the 2015 Pro V1x. Has great grab greenside
