I wanted to be a civil engineer like my Grandfather. Had 2 yeRs of college before I enlisted in the Navy. I got out just before my Grandfather passed away, then returned to school with the GI Bill, got a 4.0 and an academic scholarship and graduated top of my class with a BS in Jewish Engineering..........Accounting.

I wanted to be a Police Officer...but I hated school, so I got into investigations and body guarding. Then I pulled my finger out and did the University portion of the policing degree, but before I went into training I met my wife and moved here.

 

Now I want to buy a cafe or bar in SW Florida.

hahaha  My wife's brother was a platinum Hyundai car salesman and retired deputy Sheriff, and he sold a Santa Fe to his brother for the "special family discount" of MSRP + 15%.

When I was a kid, I remember watching the Blazers on tv and wanted to be a basketball player. But as I got older I realized that I suck at sports and probably need to pick a different profession. I made it through a year of seminary before deciding to switch gears and ended up in engineering which is what my undergrad was in. Later on I got into golf-i think that would be a fun profession but see my comment on basketball above.
