downlowkey
2016: Saturday post round interview; Bernhard Langer tells Jim Nance they will continue their discussion of his stellar play in the cabin on Sunday. SPY VIP The Dansome Posted April 3, 2017 SPY VIP Share Posted April 3, 2017 2016: Hands down Jordan Spieth's collapse and the water balls on 12. So sick of watching him play and had given up watching on Sunday. Suddenly, I start getting text messages asking "are you watching this?!" I immediately turn golf back on to find he's completely sh*t the bed and gone bogey, bogey, quad on the 10th through 12th holes. Sure I saw Jack's comeback and Tiger's dominance, but what awesome theatre to watch one of golf's biggest babies destroyed on the back 9 at Augusta. Man dinner tasted so good that night. Golfspy_CG2
Probably Nickaus win in 86. I thought I had missed him winning majors as I wasn't old enough to follow and enjoy golf when he was dominating in the 60's and 70's. Tigers dominant win in 97 is also up there. Shankster
I think Tiger's '97 is what really changed my outlook on golf. We had a golf course as our backyard, I was working there as a cart boy/dishwasher. Had my Wilson clubs. Tried out for the golf team that fall, made it only to get cut the next week. My dad bought me a brand new set of Titleist... boy was he mad. I watched that little golf course roar to standing room only that summer. Everyone was wearing Nike, and swinging out of them , I think his win there revived a dying sport with his reign of terror to follow. Unfortunately, I think we need another Tiger 20 years later. We had Arnie, Jack, and Tiger. Who's next? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

revkev
Nicklaus in '86. Honorable Mention: The Norman back nine collapse to Faldo was a classic. The absolute signature moment of his made for TV the PGA tour needs a star and this guy's all we got career. I love his wine though. Tiger's wins were all fun. The most amazing thing about that chip in was that Davis Love had made that same shot a few years earlier. I guarantee Woods had seen it and remembered. What a great player. I miss him.
