Is this repairable?

Recommended Posts

Depends what you mean by fix it. You can put a new shaft in it. But pretty sure that shaft is shot now but maybe one of our resident club fixers/fitters could give you a different answer. In my opinion it just looks like a reason to buy something new. Sucks if it was one of your favorites though.

You need a new shaft. Any reputable club repair outfit can take care of removing the broken bit from the hosel..

Get those all the time.

Not going into a lot of detail here but the quick answer is:

Use an extractor and a heat gun to remove the broken shaft from the club head. If there is not enough for the extractor to dig into/grab use a small drill bit to make some holes IN THE SHAFT material (not the club head hosel) with a bit of heat it will loosen up whatever is left. Club head will be good as new again. The shaft is toast as far as a driver, but depending on the model/stiffness, and tip cutting done, you could clean it up and use in a 5 or 7 wood.

DTG Turner H-1 4/5/7 woods

Hannah C curve putter

My swing speed is on the cusp, stiff flex driver, working down to a regular flex in the irons.
