DK03
Scoping out a set of new Ping i200s and was considering having the ferrules swapped out for a custom look. Don't yet have the expertise to do it myself but don't have a shop nearby that I really trust so I wanted to have the guesswork done beforehand. Anyone have any idea what size ferrules I need? downlowkey
I think everything Pings puts out these days is a 0.335 taper tip. From there you should be able to go nuts with the available options. One note, pretty sure Ping still does a ram shaft install (very tight fit) so any local shop would probably have to do a little $anding to reinstall. Since you're purchasing new, just order them with your preferred custom ferrule option and $ave yourself the ha$$le of dealing with a local $hop. BTW, welcome to the forum Dave! Kor.A.Door
It's likely that .335 for an the iron shaft is incorrect, it's likely to be either taper tip .355, or parallel tip .370, but when you look for ferrules you will also need the outside diameter of the hosel as well as shaft tip size, another factor could be are they collared ferrules. There's more to it that just finding a shaft size. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
Kenny B
I'm pretty sure that all Ping irons back to the Eye 2 are taper-tipped .355. I haven't run across any that are .370. What did you have in mind for ferrules? I don't know of any for .355 other than just plain black. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Kor.A.Door
There are a lot of .355 ferrules that you can buy. Make sure the irons don't require a collared ferrule. There are only a few choices for collared ferrules. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
