The views, the cliffs, the coast are all spectacular. The layout of the course is as good as it gets! There are ocean holes, land holes, and all the holes go in different directions making the wind a huge factor in your round. Its tough to pick out negatives on the course as most raters feel is the best public course in the country but if I had to, the conditions can't possibly be compared to a top private course. Pebble is booked solid with tee times every 10 minutes all year around. There is also one hole towards the end where you can't really see an aim point from the tee. All the ocean holes are so spectacular the negatives are easily over looked. The par 3s have variety and number 7 is an easy favorite at less then a hundred yards, but it is down hill and when the wind blows anything can happen! This is a course I could play over and over again and I can easily see how it seems to be easy to find people there that have been there a dozen times before!

I've played it a few times. Hands down the best course in the country, IMO.

 

I love every hole, but these are my favorite stretches.
