Cooper
Anyone used it? I do online lessons because there is very poor coaching in my area. Would like something where I can draw some lines on the screen to see how I match up. Any ideas on any better apps or programs if not this one? PlaidJacket
Check out the Hudl Technique app (formerly call Ubersense) for either Android or Apple. I've used it off and on for years. It will do exactly what you're looking for. My Sun Mountain bag currently includes: 771CSI 5i - PW and PFC Micro Tour-c 52°, 56°, 60 wedges EXS 10.5*, 929-HS FW4 16.5* Willimette w/GolfPride Contour
TSauer
What Plaid said, Hudl Technique is exactly what you're describing. I've used it many times in the past. IIRC, you can compare your swing next to pros swing, not sure if that's something you're looking for, but it's a cool feature. gaussman1
I use V1 app and it's fine for doing video work. STUDque
I used V1 back when I had an Android phone and dropped it when I made the switch to iOS since it wasn't offered. This thread got me excited that V1 was back baby. However, I checked it the Hudl app and it really seems more polished and complete. Nice tip Plaid. kevin1889
Did V1 just stop offering the free version of their desktop PC app? I used it last week with no problems, but yesterday when I launched the app it wouldn't let me proceed unless I paid for the premium upgrade. STUDque
These annual subscription apps kill me. I'm old school in the fact that I believe you should be able to buy software and keep it. TR1PTIK
I've used V1, Hudl and maybe one or two others. Hudl is the best IMO. Probably the best feature is that you can share your videos with the community and get feedback (potentially from actual teaching pros). My course pro also uses it and we can send and share videos through the app to check on my progress between lessons. pbland
I was using V1, but got the message about needing to pay for the premium upgrade too. I haven't heard of Hudl Technique, but it sounds very promising. Thanks guys.
