Canucklehead 1,634
I tried a Titleist 915 F2 yesterday that was very hitable. Any comments from the group on that one? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I've found Titleist woods are quite hitable. josmi15 1,753
If you can find a X2Hot 3W, can't recommend it enough... can't find any used ones in Europe (and in good condition) If I was in the US, I would be buying them all! revkev 25,403
I hit the JPX 3 wood and the Exotics 10 whatever its called - 4 wood. GolfSpy_APH 7,901
It may be on the expensive end, but I was in the same boat as you with 3 woods and I ended up trading in my r15 3 wood with the bonus credit and picked up a cobra f7 3 wood. I wanted a 5 but they don't make them in lefty. Anyway it's been an amazing club and I've used it a lot. Super easy to hit. Launches the ball high, long and straight. Has a ton of different settings loft and weights to make getting fitted properly easy. Definitely something worth looking at. revkev 25,403
I do like the look of the Cobra but I'm starting to zero in on either the Mizuno or the Tour Exotics. Honest Wes 113
I was paired with an older guy and he solved it for me. I was topping and worm burning 3 wood and hybrids on the fairway. HuskerHacker 42
I hope you enjoy the TEE as much as I do, I like the XCG5,and 6 so I haven't tried anything newer, eventually I may have to try something newer but I can still get these for around 50 bucks so I haven't looked at the newer.I'll let you know once it gets here, hopefully Tuesday. I've read a lot of good so I'm hoping it works out. I've had the same problem for too many years. Gone thru a shh&&?@$d of fareway woods and different shafts to no avail. Right now working for me is driver, 4 hybrid with 1.5" longer than std shaft and the rest irons. I gave up tinkering, just gave up. Hope u find your mix. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I love tinkering too much to ever give it up! Got an XR16 - a 5W, not a 3W - with the stock Speeder 565 shaft, and I am really happy with it. Easy to hit, ball pops off the face and it works hard to help me send it straight. It was on the short list. Got a crazy deal on the e8 though so I pulled the trigger. Dude - I've been playing the XCG6 16.5deg 4-wood for the last couple of years and it has never left the bag. I'm in the process of trying to find a 7-wood to accompany it but no luck thus far. The loft on the 4-wood is perfect for me and I find that it is super consistent for me. I added a Paderson FW shaft last year and that combo is unbeatable - I can't see it ever leaving my bag. Would be interested to see how the E8 16.5 goes for you.I'll update once it shows up so stay tuned. I tried a Titleist 915 F2 yesterday that was very hitable. Any comments from the group on that one? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Never hit a 915, but I sold a 910 for the e8 I'm getting. Dr Strangelove 285
The Ping G25 is super easy to hit. To make it even easier, I cut it one inch short. I play my driver at 44" and cut this an inch shorter and put a 4g weight in it. It is very easy to hit. PAgolfer2017 2,045
I'll throw a dark horse into the ring and suggest a Callaway Big Bertha Heavenwood. 7 wood loft 18-21* and a 4 wood shaft. HuskerHacker 42
Interesting - what's your normal ball flight and how do you like it? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Typically I've felt I'm a mid to low flight, but over the past few weeks I feel that's moved to a mid to high flight with some changes I've made to my swing and equipment. Right now I'm really liking it, but I haven't had a chance to put it through the paces yet and it's very early. Hopefully I'll be able to get on the range sometime in the next couple days and really test it. When I do I'll report back.
