Whats TGW? If they have deals I'd like to check it out.

Tgw.com it's the golf warehouse. Great site, very reputable. You are usually going to get insane deals but you'll get some markdowns. You gotta watch their stuff though. For example you might see a shoe marked down to $70 from a 100 and then they'll run a 20% off deal but that shoes 80$ then 20% off or something.

That's where I'll pretty much buy anything golf I buy except clubs bc obviously I want those in my hand, although I did buy my wedges from them.

I just recently ordered a pair of Footjoy Dryjoys for a little extra arch support. They seem to run slightly big, but it's a good shoe. I rotate between these (white and brown) and Adidas powerboost (black with silver 3 stripes). I randomly found the Adidas at a store for $15...can't tell you how pleased I am with them, especially for that price.

I bought a pair of Adidas Tour 360 boosts at the club first of March.  I've been in love with them until yesterday.  About 1/2 way through the round my heels start blistering and there's a hole in both heel cups.  It's my second pair of Adidas that have done this and Adidas claimed to have fixed it.  Not happy since I probably have 10 cart rounds on these.

You slide in and out of them or unlace and loosen before putting them on and off?

They are boas and I loosen them considerably before taking them on and off.  It's a structural problem with the shoe.  It's a tiny hole, not really something that's due to wear or slippage.

That sucks. Everyone is trying to make that area softer and softer for comfort but then to get structure issues.

I am in the market for new shoes after having worn my old footjoys for a few years now. I have wide feet but as I have been walking the course more I think I need to invest in a decent pair of shoes. I do agree with fireinthehole's NPR theory however....

The FJ hyperflex's are on sale at our local store right now but I don't know much about them apart from they have weird colours, anybody tried those?

Sounds like I need to try a pair of Adidas, they seem quite popular.

Tgw has 20% off clearance shoes right now and those (I believe) are in on that. I've never met an FJ that wasn't comfortable but those colors are a little too much for me haha. Price may be pretty similar though. I love tgw but occasionally they mark stuff up a little to mark it down so just gotta watch it. Adidas are great.

There is nothing like a pair of Footjoy Classics. New pairs are nearly impossible to find since Footjoy stopped producing them years ago. Most stable shoes I have ever worn.

If anyone out here knows shoes that are comparable, PLEASE let me know!

You're right about that. They were my first pair of golf shoes ever. I found them at a thrift store...they were 1/2 size too small and still some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

Right meow there is no comparison to the Adidas Boost shoes. By far the most comfortable shoe on the market. And Boa is just awesome. Easy on and easy off with a few clicks. If you haven't tried the Adidas Power Band Boa you are missing out. At $179 they are a great shoe with Boa and Boost.

I find FJ shoes to be awful. The fit is the worst out there but quality is pretty good as is anything with FJ. I just dont like them in general. Nike has completely lost its way. Ecco are overpriced and never fit right just like FJ.

Been wanting a pair of DNA's since the originals, seem to really tear greens up though. Might have to experiment with Ecco, hear they're super comfortable and I walk a lot of rounds.

DNA are awful, leak like crazy and not comfortable really at all.

And they do shred greens almost as bad as those FJ hyperflex things...

Anybody tried MGS' Most Wanted shoes this year, either of the Skecher models? I have never gone spikeless before, it seems like the stability would just not be there. We get a lot of wet spring conditions up in Ontario and I don't know if spikeless would get the job done.

Just bought some footjoy freestyle this season. Love them so far, especially since most my golf this year has been in wet conditions. When it's dry I stick with my ashworth cardiff spikeless shoes.

Last year found a pair of Puma BioDrive Leather shoes at a local course being cleared out. Extremely comfortable, I use to always find my feet getting sore after rounds with the Nike shoes i previously had. These definitely were a great purchased and have held up very well!
