I’m not sure exactly, I’ve read in blues lore it meant leaving town.

And while Elmore James version and his famous slide guitar riff is the most well known of that song, Robert Johnson recorded it 15 years before Elmore James.

Any Instrumetal dorks out there? Polyphia is a pretty interesting group. Really enjoying their stuff.. kinda metal-rock-funk ish

Lord Huron gets stuck on me lately. But I did just listen to Joshua Tree in its entirety the Live at Red Rocks on my way home from sweetens

Love me some U2! They were my go-to band in the 80's and the Joshua Tree had just came out when I got assigned to School at 29 Palms. It was kind of surreal since I had never seen a Joshua Tree before moving down there and, BAM! Their new disk comes out at the exact same time..! Grabbed up a copy and ran back to base. Laid in my bunk and listened to the whole album from start to finish. Magic! 

If you dig their 90's stuff (and who didn't), check out this gem:

I was living in Vegas at the time with tickets to this show when this originally aired on TV. Enjoy!

I was cruising around You Tube and came across this. All of you "old" rockers should know who Goldy McJohn is...... key boardist for Steppenwolf. 69 years old and still playing..................... the classic.... The Pusher.

Having come across that, I got nostalgic and looked up more Steppenwolf stuff. I found one of my favorite wolf tunes with lyrics. It's a political  (sort of) tune, but it's still relative today..... no matter what side of the fence you're on. I'm making no statement with it, so.................
