The Hooters-Just Don't Take My Car Out Tonight. This song, specifically the chorus, is what made the 80's the best decade for music! Don't @ me

Mostly this station.  I really liked my SiriusXM when we lived in MT and especially on longer road trips, to/from our winter pilgrimage to AZ, annual PNW Spy Meet-up, etc.  But after we moved to AZ and having so many great HD FM stations available for free, I cancelled.  This station plays an awesome mix of tunes.  They have another station that plays 60's, 70's and 80's. They also limit their ad periods to 3 minutes max and those don't happen that frequently 👍.

So far today I listened to Zep IIII, 2 copies I forgot about.  One was Ok and the other very good.

Classical music today - German Overtures on an old Telefunken label.  A very large bombastic orchestra.  Also listened to Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring.  Both albums have a very quiet background and great resolution which helps with finer details in the music.  Love the tempo changes when listening to a large orchestra.

Compared a couple copies of Cat Stevens Teaser and the Firecat to see which had the best sound.  Also listened to Quadrophenia (The Who) and  Benefit (Jethro Tull).

I will now be doing a shootout trying to find the best side 1 and the best side 2 of three identical pressings of Willie Nelson's Stardust.  Hope I find a great sounding side 1 and 2.

SAHB is one of my favorites. Cleveland made them famous in Ohio when SAHB played the Cleveland Agora in 1974. There is no other band like them.... and likely never will be.

I agree with you on that.

... S&B you are just soooooo eclectic! I have never heard so much music I love or don't like at all. Not a fan of most heavy metal, any screaming "singers" or all out Wham/Jammin' wall of sound. I prefer intricate but subtle guitar work and melodic vocals. And you seem to post a lot of both with little in-between. 🤪  I am grateful for all the new music you have turned me onto so again just wanna send you a big THANKS!

Staggering version of a King Crimson classic by local lasses The Unthanks.

The peerless Richard Thompson. The last verse always gets my emotions in uproar!

Our local hero, the late, great Alan Hull.

Interesting - me?
