I just discovered thes ladies. I'll be checking out more from them.

... As someone that grew up in the 60/70s and was on the radio for that era of music as rock'n'roll was in its prime and discovering new interpretations and instruments every day, I am always saddened by those that think it is the only era for music and insist there is no good new music. They are missing out on amazing music like this. I too will be looking for more Muddy Magnolias and as always thanks for posting!!!

I am a 70's child and the music was amazing. There is still very good music out there today, you just have to look for it. If all anyone hears is what is being played on the radio, I can understand why people think there is no good music anymore.

I couldn't agree with this more. There is so much great new music being made right now, nearly every week I hear a band I'm not familiar with and go "whoa this is incredible". With so many places to discover new music, and have music recommended to you, it boggles my mind when I hear people complain that there's nothing new worth listening to.

I work with the singer for this band... Shawn Porter. He is a Metalhaed to the core...lol. His daughter plays college golf, so we have interesting conversations.😉 The band is Wrath Icon. They have been at this for 25 years... and are on the verge of signing a deal. It may or may not be your thing, but I figured I would make a plug for them...lol.

I was perusing Celtic music and came across this. I forgot how good her voice was/is.

Yes, she’s a bit “different” but a great talent.
Now The Chieftains are/were freaking awesome.  Loved those them.

... While there is just too many truly great LP/CD's out there to choose one as the best, if I were forced to pick just one, Buckingham Nicks would be in a short list. Every single track is just remarkable.

... I was getting ready to interview Chris Cross and Stevie Nicks when they were in town for a concert and made the mistake of telling Stevie I thought Buckingham Nicks might be the best LP ever made and she got so upset she left before the interview. Seems Chris made the same mistake and told me Stevie felt like her raw and emotional energy on the LP is something she may never be able to replicate after several attempts with Fleetwood Mac and her solo LP's. I wish he would have told me before I said it but in his defense he said most people had never even heard of Buckingham Nicks. Shockingly they never released a CD but I have a few bootleg copies.
