schnergun
Thanks! I am very excited to test this! My stage two review is going to be a bit more indepth. I was even thinking of taking the unit apart to see what it looked like inside and taking photos of it, lol. MDGolfHacker If you do take it apart let me know how easy it is. I have a hair or something i can see everytime I look through it and cant seem to get rid of it! MDGolfHacker
Oh lord I could see the aftermath of that. A puzzled MDHacker sitting around wondering where everything goes back into. Ha Ha ha ha, you know there are ALWAYS extra parts after reassembling electronics! MDGolfHacker 2 Quote What's In This Lefty's Bag? schnergun
Was it there when you first receiveed the unit? MDGolfHacker It was not. I dont think its a crack either. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk Strange that a hair would get into the optical system. Did you check the eyepiece to see if something is there? I'm pretty sure it's a sealed system. Or check the optics in the front and make sure there isn't a scratch on the lens. Use the lens cleaning cloth to wipe the ocular piece and front lens and see if that solves the issue. schnergun
I'll try and see if it's there. Maybe I'll get some canned air and try to blast it out of there. Sent from my LG-LS997 using Tapatalk
FOREVER100
Just add some more info here... dont have any photo. I recently purchased this and I really like it. First couple rounds with NX7 Pro was little hard because I have little shaky hand. Over time I got used to using it and found out best arm position for less shaky... lol It is bit slow but not that slow. I think this is really accurate for price. I had problem with estimating distance with my eyes, so I usually hit longer than I had to. With this NX7 pro, I am not hitting long anymore. because I am not that great player so I dont hit exact distance everytime but my play got way better. Before with this device I was 25+ handicap now I am ~20. One thing I dont like I think it is due to casing tolerance, dust and dirt often get stuck between lens and green casing. I use canned compressed air(?) thing to blow dust and dirt and then wipe it with included cleaning cloth. 2 Quote Driver: 2016 M2 9.5 Fujikura Speeder Evolution II 6X Hybrid: Taylormade Rescue 3 hybrid X flex Irons: Taylormade TP MB 4-PW (S300 standard) Wedges: Titleist SM5 52 Titleist SM4 56 Putter: Cleveland Huntington Beach #1 Right Hand MA and South Korea +

I tried canned air, and cleaning the lens and still it wont go away or move for that matter. Im going to email precision pro tomorrow morning and see what they have to say. MGoBlue100
Based on the MyGolfSpy testing, I recently purchased the lower priced Precision Pro Nexus. Similar to what you guys are testing, (obviously) with 400 yd range as well. So far, I'm extremely pleased. It does not have the scan mode, nor is it advertised as weather resistant. One major difference is the case. The "Pro" looks like it has a pretty decent case, minus the carabiner issue you've already discussed. The Nexus, on the other hand, has a soft case that is kind of ill fitting, with only a magnetic closure that I'm frankly a little skeptical of. However, at a $149 price point, it's a pretty decent unit. Quote "Where'd it go?" "Right in the Lumberyard..." No need to unzipped the case and I feel pretty secure that it won't come unhitched (and I've gone over some bumpy terrain. MDGolfHacker 2 Quote What's In This Lefty's Bag? schnergun
Just heard from Precision Pro. They are sending me a new range finder. They believe it's on the interior optical lens and there's no way to clean it. Great customer service!
