DiscipleofPenick
I'm 6'1" 300 with a similar swing speed in my Ecco spikeless I would occasionally get my back leg slipping. I don't know if it's from all the years of hockey that I slip because it's instincts when shooting but that's my problem with spikeless unless others have way better traction than the Ecco.Ah, could be. yale17
Walked a round recently after riding all summer. It felt great and I played well. revkev
Finally a "cool" enough day to walk - we've been well above 100 heat index since mid-June. Sunday it was only in the mid-80's, relatively dry and quite windy. First walking round with my bagboy and also my new sketchers - between the wind, closed range, wet and new irons (although that's a lame excuse because they were hardly the main culprit - wild driving and thick rough got me) I didn't play well - but walking always makes it worth playing - I absolutely love to walk when I play - I may have to ride a few more times as we typically don't have the weather we are having right now until mid-October. Someone recently gave me a Visa gift card for performing a service for them. I think a second pair of sketchers is in order so that I don't wear these out too quickly. DFEagle
Walk two rounds every weekend. My club's caddie program is on hiatus, so we've allowed pushcarts and surprisingly, to the dismay of the Northeast golf "purists" at the club, the course has not slid into the Hudson! Seriously, I think that allowing the carts is here to stay and adds to the enjoyment of the game as well as general fitness. I'm 62, 5'11" and a 240 lb. gym rat; being able to walk whenever I want has been great. Oh, and for what it's worth, I recently purchased a pair of New Balance Striker spiked shoes and they may be the best combination of performance and comfort I've ever had. dhartmann34
I walk 95% of my rounds and I picked up the E-Wheels V2 a month ago and have been using that a lot. Today I went to the range to practice, but a couple of guys I normally play with were there and they were going to play. I had left my cart at home so I decided I would carry. I haven't carried in probably four or five years because of back and shoulder issues. But apparently carrying suits me well because I shot 34 with three birdies. Considering it was 46° in 20 plus mile an hour winds I was pretty happy with that. I don't like picking up and setting down the bag as that is a bit rough on my body, but I did enjoy the round. So maybe I'll actually carry every so often next season.Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk cksurfdude 1 Quote Driver: G400 (8*) with Diamana Kai'li X-stiff Fairway: G400 (14.5*) with Diamana Kai'li X-stiff Irons: Crossover 3 iron (19*) with TT Dynamic Gold 120 S400 shaft AP3 (4/5) and AP2 (6-PW) with TT Dynamic Gold 120 S400 shafts Wedges: Scor 50*, 54*, and 58* with TT Dynamic Gold 120 S400 shafts Putter: Pro Platinum Newport 2 Midslant Handicap: 3 Location: Illinois...until i can get my wife to move to a warmer climate Right Handed: Although sometimes I wonder if left handed would suit me better

Patriots68
I walk nearly all of my rounds with a pushcart. Usually I do this when I play as a single and until this year it wasn't a problem but with more crowed courses and everyone riding in their own cart I have found it really difficult to keep from rushing when being the only one in the group when walking, I've started leaving my cart at home unless I'm playing the local 9 hole course, which I can usually get out on alone. In need was doing okay in my DNA until last round when I was feeling it in my toes from the hills and they started to fall apart. Eccos are out as my spikeless killed my feet a few weeks ago. Late to the party here, chiming in anyway. I've gone back and forth a couple times in recent years, but I've gone back to spikeless, and back to True Linkswear shoes. I'm not exactly a small guy, 5'11" to 6' tall, currently 225 lbs. The True Linkswears don't have all the cushioning you might find in some, but I find them more comfortable. I've got a pair of Skechers Go Golf spikeless, didn't find them all that great. I originally switched to Trues around 2012, at 30 lbs heavier, I'd worried about them not being comfortable enough with the lack of cushioning seen in other shoes. Turned out to be needless worry, they've been awesome since day one. As for slipping, I've slipped in softspikes as well. My take, if I'm slipping in my swing, I'm overswinging. I know a lot about overswinging, LOL. For softspike shoes, I have a couple pairs of New Balance. They're quite good, and comfortable, I'd recommend them. I only switched away from them because I chose to again move away from spikes.
