Any significance or story behind the avatar you are using?

Mine is a picture of my dog when he was just a little a pup. Now he is 75 lbs and thinks he is a lap dog (tip: don't let your puppy sit in your lap unless they are going to stay small).

Edit: sorry for misplacing this in the wrong category. If anyone knows how to re categorize let me know.

Mines my pup as well when he was about 3 or 4 months old (he's 4 now) He's the only reason I sometimes feel bad golfing because he'll be home alone. That being said he's always rewarded with a long walk to the park before or after the round!

Ha - different avatar but same story here, re: feeling guilty about leaving two pup-pups .. a Black Lab, he'll be 9 this Summer, and a Flat-Coated Retriever, he'll be 5 the end of this month .. and yeah they also get extra running around time in the yard or walkies :)

Well .. I guess actually that happens most days anyway .. golfing or not!!!!

Mine is a picture of my score after becoming a Galactic Hero on Buzz Lightyear's Ranger spin at Disney World. Yes there are tips online of how to do this. Plus my wife wanted proof since she was in the trolley in front of us with our other little one. No I did not tell her my secret and will take it to my grave. Unless she googles it and finds out herself.

I have been in the nuclear business since I graduated from Oregon State University and moved to the Tri-Cities; home of the US Department of Energy Hanford nuclear site.  Yes, we were in the news yesterday!

My avatar is the Hanford B Reactor, the first plutonium production reactor built in 1943 and went operational in 1944 (can't build a reactor that fast today!!)  It is now a national historical landmark.  Magenta and yellow are the colors for radiation symbols.

That tunnel has been there for over 60 years, and Hanford has sandy soil... go figure!

Up until 2 years ago I had longish but thinning hair and a handlebar mustache and it made me look exactly like Dr. Johnny Fever, so I figured that was a good internet representation of me.

It's amazing how much better I'm treated at golf courses, particularly nicer ones now that I've cut my hair and lost the mustache.

The story on mine is that little Piglet I've got there was a gift from a high school friend who is in the military, during his Seal training after so long of his hell week training they had a bunch of greased up pigs set loose and were told that if they caught one they could sleep and this was the one he was able to catch. They're from here in Texas but he was training out of state and had his wife (also a friend from school) bring the pig back to Texas with her in her little cube car where by the end of the trip it had demolished her back seat. I got a call from her that evening she got in town asking me if I wanted it since She knew I had prior history with livestock and really enjoyed working with animals and that's how I got Rudy. This picture was taken roughly two days after I got him home and settled in. He initially didn't want anything to do with people but eventually grew into one of the best pigs I've ever had.
