My colleague is the owner of an official August National jacket. He purchased at a charity auction many years back. When I found out that he owned a Green Jacket, I asked him if would mind bringing to the office one day so I could see, and he responded by saying that maybe he could for a special occasion. Fast forward a couple years later, and one day he stops by and asks when my birthday is. My mind immediately jumped to the jacket, but I asked why. He smiled and just said, "wear a polo shirt to work that day." Sure enough, he brought the Green Jacket on my birthday and allowed me to try it on. One of my other colleagues was kind enough to bring his fancy DSLR in and took photos for me, one of which is my avatar.

Mine is the view from the clubhouse at Riviera Maya Golf Club near Akumal, Mexico. The green in the picture is the 9th on the 9-hole executive course they have in addition to the championship course.  I really, really enjoyed playing there and even played pretty well considering I was wearing tennis shoes, using rented clubs, and junky balls the staff sold me for about a dollar a ball.

Avatar is me wearing a "respect" Jeter, NY Yankee T shirt. Shirt was sent to me by a very good friend, Yankee fan who died suddenly a few months ago.

I'm a die hard New England RED SAUX fan but I wear this shirt for him. Miss his emails (very sarcastic) that were a blast. Good guy missed by many and a terrible golfer.
