Hello - long time visitor of the forum, but first time posting. I finally decided not to be a creeper and just register.

I love golf but must admit my play is quite inverse to my enthusiasm for the game. I've only played four-person scrambles the past few years, but I imagine that I'd be lucky to break 110 these days on my own.

I was first introduced to the game in elementary school when my parents took me to a summer camp at Sycuan (formerly Singing Hills) in San Diego.

Apparently I didn't think much of it because I didn't pick up a club again until high school. Even then, I must have played the executive course at Sycuan only a handful of times.

In college, I took a recreational class on golf basics and received about 10 weeks of lessons from a PGA pro. But once again, I didn't keep with it and my interest eventually faded not long after.

It wasn't until about five years that I really started to take an interest in the game and stick with it. While I really don't have much time to play a round, I try to find time to at least hit the range periodically. My TV is usually on the Golf Channel, and I'm willing to watch re-runs of both PGA and LPGA tournaments.

I'm an avid visitor of MyGolfSpy and enjoy watching Mark Crossfield and Rick Shiels on YouTube.
