Just came across this new feature that Arccos is releasing called Arccos Caddie. Using the data from your previous rounds it will then recommend the best strategy for you to shoot the lowest score on each hole. I am definitely intrigued.

Check it out for yourself

Maybe in the future this virtual caddie will have a voice and make jokes when you pull out a club that can only do harm.

"Put the driver back in the bag, trust me."

It definitely won't stop you from hitting whatever shots you want to hit, but if you aren't certain on how exactly you want to play the hole, the caddie button will help you out. It'll tell you your chance of hitting the fairway with said club, as well as missing it left or right.

Sounds cool.

Actually sounds really cool. Might help me not make stupid choices on the course.

Haha reminds me of that scene from Happy Gilmore when he is at his first tourney with that kid as his caddie. "Make sure I don't do anything stupid.....where were you on that one dipsh!t?". Lol.

I love that movie. I'm going to watch it tomorrow. Caddyshack is my favorite, but Happy Gilmore is a very close 2nd.

Uh oh. Happy learned how to putt. [emoji4]

Yeah saw this as well. I'm totally on board with Arccos now.

I think it was golf.com had the CEO on a podcast. Some really insightful stuff from him.

Basically the caddy uses data and gps so if the fairway bottlenecks in your landing zone it might recommend a hybrid off the tee. Things like that.

I'm buying this system. Like today. Then I have to wait till the 22nd for the caddy to tell me to use a 7 iron, and I ask for a wedge. Then he's fired.

Fired mid round and then you have to go on a Twitter rant afterwards.

Great for first time playing a course.

Not sure about playing the same course multiple times though...may override the recommendation.

Now only if I can get it to read my putts for me....

I've never had a problem with it reading any of my putts. You just gotta make sure you address every putt properly. The most common problem with putting is tap ins, I've read.

I think stroker meant "read" the putt..... "aim 2 balls out right of the cup".

Taylormade M2 10.5 Reg

Mizuno JPX-EZ Forged 4-GW, True Temper XP105 S300

Cleveland 588RTX 50,54,58

Ahh, yeah that makes sense after re-reading it haha. That would be the cherry on top.
