While we were in Maui I had some amazing pour over on the Road to Hana.  Picked up a bag of Starbucks Kona coffee.  Probably my favorite yet, problem is you can’t get it here that I can find.

Also have been picking up several brands in Mexico and Costa Rica.  Not too shabby.

Making me miss Maui....

I grew up in the Seattle area and lived there until just a couple of years ago. I got into the local coffee scene there (it’s as hard to keep up with as the brewery / beer scene). Cafe Ladro was a favorite of mine.
I was a barista for awhile and loved making my own Americanos, and one day I hope to have an espresso setup at home. I used to do French Press but got tired of cleaning out the grinds, so I use a Chemex pour over now with an OXO burr grinder.

If y'all have a Costco nearby, Kirkland coffee is really good. We started buying whole bean and grinding it ourselves and it had been a game changer. We get a 3 lb bag for around $12 and it tastes very similar to Starbucks. Black, with cream, French pressed, drip coffee... no matter the way, it's really good.

We have a Nespresso and I love it. Aluminum pods are more eco friendly and my only complain is in Europe the coffee sizes are too small.
