"Obviously my iron play is incredible, and when I get going I can get hot, but this course just fits my eye. The shaping of the holes, and just a couple of the doglegs, I'm able to shape shots."

It isn't a contest. The members here put in a lot of time into their reviews for everyone to read

I agree 100%

I've been selected twice to be a tester and let me just say. It is so much more work than you think it is. I have to keep detailed notes to give a fair and detailed review. You have to write several paragraphs that all somehow has to flow as one large train of thought. Then there is the editing which takes almost as long as writing the thing. Being a tester just isn't some way to get free stuff, it is a duty that you have been given to give and share honest feedback to inform other golfers about the product in question.

I 100% agree that it is so much work to do these reviews, but I would do it every time because I know how valuable these reviews can be for the members here. We all listen to what one another has to say and it creates a discussion about golf and makes us think. It helps make us better. That why these testers are so important.

You make some great points with this. I'm sure there are a lot of people who have posted to this thread with the hope to be chosen specifically to get free product but I really hope that they take it as seriously as you have in the past.

I personally have used this site for their reviews for years and decided it was time that I made an account to hopefully be able to give my input on things as well because I have seen first hand how helpful they can be when it comes to spending your hard earned money on new golf equipment, especially when someone like myself goes looking for new equipment once every few years or more and has to make sure they are making the best possible purchase for them at that time.

Absolutely true. I have never been selected, but I am positive that testing the product and writing a thorough review both take time and hard work. I know that MGS and the members here take testing very seriously. This is not, by any means, a "contest."
