backinit1978
So I pull the the ball to the left. It's a problem with every club. Does any body have a good way to find face at impact. I've tried some slow motion video with my phone camera and just can't catch it the club head come thru to fast. Just trying to see if it's club face or path that's causing it John Fitzgerald Tulsa Oklahoma 2014 Callaway apex irons Diablo octane driver 9.5 stiff Diablo octane 3 wood stiff 18 handicap
null
Does the ball start left and then hook further left, or does it just start left and continue straight?
Smalls1588
It could just be an alignment issue as well if the ball is staying straight on the line it is starting on. PlaidJacket
Probably your swing. If it starts left and then fades or slices back right I'm guessing your coming over the top. MDGolfHacker
Video camera/phone camera on the ground perpendicular to you. You can record a few swings and play it back frame by frame. At ball impact, if you can see part of face then its open. MDGolfHacker TSssWhat's In This Lefty's Bag? Therefore, your ball starts on or slightly to the right of the intended target line, but because the club face was closed relative to the swing path, than the ball has hook spin and will move off to the left. backinit1978
So I saw something about grip. I have been keeping my right thumb on top and straight down on the shaft. Saw somewhere that the correct spot is just off center. Trying that tonight started hitting straight shots again John Fitzgerald Tulsa Oklahoma 2014 Callaway apex irons Diablo octane driver 9.5 stiff Diablo octane 3 wood stiff 18 handicap
