jhellrung 97
You can get a great deal from Ben Hogan Golf, if you don't mind sending them an email then waiting for them to call. I have had my Ptx irons for 3 weeks, the 37*(8) iron had three dings in the leading edge so I emailed them with pics. Yesterday they called me and said they were building my replacement, and just wanted to make sure they got it right. If you are patient, the clubs are definitely worth the wait. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy I just got the ft worth irons and love them. 300 bucks after my trade in. I wouldn't call them forgiving, but I do love them. Jiro 788
Lot of good suggestions so far. There are a lot of options in the category you are looking in. I have hit the mizuno jpx 850 forged and think they are a very good club between GI and players, as others have mentioned there is a newer version of this club out. The irons that I like the looks of right now and would give a try are the previously mentioned Srixons, Ben Hogans and Bridgestones. One more brand that has a lot of different head options that I would look at is KZG. They are a little harder to find but they make some great looking irons. Try as many as you can get your hands on [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Quote Launcher HB Driver 10.5* | Launcher HB 5W | Launcher HB 3H and 4H | Launcher CBX Irons 5-PW | CBX Wedges 50*, 54*, 58* | TFI 2135 Cero Putter | Q Star Balls

Maker4life 2
My best suggestion is to go get fitted with a Master Fitter, I recently went to one to go over my clubs and it was the best thing I could have done. A great fitter will help you choose the best irons and shaft combination for your swing. MDGolfHacker 7,908
So, im looking from transitioning from my 714 ap1 iron set into something a bit more sleak looking but also still has a decent bit of forgiveness to them. Im sure many of you are in the same boat as me on this and i'd love to hear any opinions, suggestions, or reccomendations you could throw my way. Patrick_O 11
Ok we have sleak and forgiving but not AP1. That narrows it down to maybe 100 clubs. Need a bit more information eg cast, forged. What have you seen that you like so far? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
dadivots 336
This. Also look at the Callaway CF16's and Srixon 565's. MDGolfHacker Yep. The Mizuno's are always a welcome change for someone who hasnt played them or simply likes them. I had many a set. And the 16's are coming around used and a guy i know just picked up a set fitted to his needs for half of new. Seem to be one of the keeper clubs out there. The Srixons are a thing of beauty and thy might be the club and the set coniguration that changes the market moving forward. Im not ready to say hey are something special or really a game changer, but they might be. Hit em all and love the ones you get, because after all its not the arrow its the indian.

Patrick_O 11
Agree with Mizuno. Going from AP1 you could easily go to the JPX 900 HM or the Srixon 545 or 565's. Apex CF is also a great suggestion. Personally I like the looks of the i200's as well. Cobra forged series is yet another. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm a big Mizuno fan. I've bagged the MP-32's and currently have the mp57s in the bag, but now I'm looking to upgrade as well. I haven't been able to hit the new Mizuno 900 forged clubs yet. I'm looking at the Titleist ap2s/TMBs, Srixon 765s and the Callaway CF16's. MDGolfHacker 1 Quote What's In This Lefty's Bag? MDGolfHacker So i've been down to a couple pro shops near me and out of all the irons i have hit i think its between the 716 ap2's, srixon 765's, jpx 900 forged, and Callaway apex cf16. Will have to get down there again soon and have an extensive go with all of them and get fit. Should be able to do that soon so i can keepp everyone updated on the process. 3 Quote Ping g400 lst 10* w/Oban kiyoshi gold 65s Titleist 915f 16.5* w/Aldia rogue max 75s Cobra King UT 18* w/Kbs C-taper lite 110s Titleist 714 AP2 (4-PW) w/ Accra 95s proto Titleist sm6 50*,54*,58* w/Dynamic gold s200 Evnroll Er2 35in w/superstroke flatso 1.
