RookieBlue7
Found it and bought it on a whim because I thought it needed rescuing. After much hand and bench time, I've finished it. Though I think I'm going to change the paintfill a little now that I go back and look at it (I did the line under wilson Staff and connected "f" in black because that's what I thought it was. Now, though I see it appears it was originally red, since I didn't reference my before pictures.) Regardless, what's your thoughts on it before and after? Should I have left it alone or restored it? golfluvzme
Excellent work, Rookie. I can relate soooooo very much to the purchasing of items because you just can't bear to leave them there. My garage is full of rescued clubs that multiply and some never see the light of day, again. I may have some projects that were given to me that you could get some additional practice on, if you are open. Fire me a PM here and I'll try to make a list. It is mostly heads that are very similar to the one in this thread. A couple of Julios Boros and some others. Once again, very nice work on that one. I know, firsthand that this sort of transformation has hours of handwork and you nailed it. Thanks for sharing your efforts, LaMont in AZ

mudfish
yea, what steps did you take? I see old beat up putters all the time at the Rescue Mission, and just pass right by them... now I'll have to give them another look...
