Divot Tool

So I need a divot repair tool, I've been using tees or borrowing a friends.

 

Does anyone have one they really like that wont stab you in the leg when its in your pocket.

 

Dont care if it has the ball marker part to it, as I have a hat clip and also will be keeping my new one in my pocket

I just use a tee. Works as well as any fancy divot repair tool you can find and reduces the amount of stuff you need to carry in your pockets in the first place!

I at one time had several of these pitch fix (switchblade sytle) If I still had them all, I'd be happy to send one to you.  But I seem to lose them quicker than a John Daily can put down a 12oz can of beer.

I have a pivot tool...the Scotty Cameron ones...that I snagged off eBay that is a clip...slip it on your pocket till you need it and it doesn't bother you. I've also got a pitch fix just seems a little big and I carry everything in one pocket opposite my glove hand. Two tees, ball marker and clip my tool on my pocket.

Pitchfix is the way to go. I hate getting stabbed as well.

You must be wearing those European cut pants. . I just use one of the divot tools that most courses give away. It goes in my pocket with Tess and I never get stabbed

I agree on any of the switchblade style tools. Flix, Champ, Pitchfix

I only wish more people had an interest in fixing divots/pitch marks.

Seamus golf has some pretty cool options. I picked one up at a tournament last year I played in. I collect ball markers, pencils, and divot tools from each new course I play.

Yore right plaid! I had a chip shot that was online to go in the cup and my dang ball stopped in a ball mark!! Repair your ball marks!!!!!!!

I like tools that insert easily and are thick enough to lever. So tees don't work for me.

Got a new neighbor last February who thinks he quite the golfer. He's OK not great but talks a scratch.

He joined my little group and has played a few times with our guys. First thing we noticed is does not repair divots. A couple of us have just fixed them without saying much. Last week was his birthday and as we were on the 4th hole he hit the green leaving a large divot that he ignored. I fixed my divot then his and asked him what he's getting for his birthday? He said don't know so I told him I hoped he would get a new divot tool cause obviously must have lost his.

Hope he got the message. Will find out tomorrow morning.

+1 for pitchfix. Nice little tool. The prongs go into the handle so as not to stab you while in the pocket.

I use a wedge tees to fix my marks. They're awesome! Also they're indestructible. Played one for almost 100 rounds before losing it. Could barely balance a ball on it hahah

Best one I ever had was called greensaver. Lil bulky but worked great.

I use an older Scott Cameron one. It does stab you though. But it's been in the bag almost 7 years so I am use to it

Do you have the original or zinc version? How is the build quality? Does it ever snap open in your pocket?

I have the zinc one, although mine isn't anywhere near shiny. I'm still using the same one I bought 7+ years ago, so the quality is good. It very rarely opens up in my pocket.

 

It looks as though they changed it a little bit in that I have a magnetic ball marker where one of their logo's is...never use it though.
